This set of digital plant illustrations was completed over a ten-week period at the beginning of 2021, with one illustration done each week. It explores the many different shapes and textures that make the plants unique.
In 2022 I am revisiting these illustrations and building on the backgrounds, creating compositions that have a multitude of layers and colors, which I find give the plants more personality and depth than their original solid backgrounds.
