This video was created for St. Mary's Healthcare to be shown throughout the hospital on Sepsis Awareness Day, 09/13/2021. September is internationally recognized as Sepsis Awareness Month.
The 1:05 minute video composed in Adobe After Effects consists of a looping animation of four unique cells travelling through the veins and arteries, with information about sepsis shown over the top. Viewers will learn what sepsis is, how many people are affected annually, the symptoms and risk groups, and how sepsis can be prevented. All information was obtained from the Global Sepsis Alliance, www.global-sepsis-alliance.org
The four different cells that make up the background animation; two bacteria and two red blood cells, were initially created in Adobe Dimension. They were exported to Adobe Photoshop where the final details such as the glow, color, and shading were adjusted.
The original animation, that was looped to create the background of the final video.
